Menards

FingerBot's Menards module is fully automatic and requests-based. It runs headless — no browser windows open, no Menards account needed (guest checkout). The bot watches the FingerAIO Discord channel for Menards product pings and restock alerts, then checks out automatically using your saved Guest Profile and proxies.

Note: Menards checkout does not require a Menards account — everything runs as guest checkout. A valid Guest Profile (shipping + payment) is all you need.

What You Need Before Starting

Before creating tasks, complete the shared setup covered in Profiles Setup and Proxies:

  1. Guest Profile — open Settings → Profiles → Guest Profiles and add a profile with shipping details (name, address, city, state, ZIP, phone), email, and a payment card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover). Make sure the card's CVV is saved — it's required to pay. Billing defaults to the same as shipping; uncheck "Billing same as shipping" if the card bills elsewhere.
  2. Proxy List — open the Proxies page and create a proxy list. A proxy is required — Menards tasks never run without one. Residential proxies are strongly recommended.
  3. Discord Channel ID — open Settings → Menards and paste the Channel ID of the Discord channel where Menards restock alerts and product pings are posted.
  4. Discord connection — the app must be logged into Discord (bot token configured). If your Discord monitor works for other retailers, you're already set.

How the Bot Works

When you open the Menards page, the bot automatically connects to Discord and listens to your configured channel for the life of the page — there's no separate "start monitor" button.

Each task watches in one of three modes, chosen at creation:

Watch ModeWhat It Does
Product URLYou paste a Menards product URL. On start, the bot checks stock immediately: in stock → checkout runs right away; out of stock → the task arms itself and auto-runs the moment a restock alert for that item posts in the channel.
KeywordsThe task waits in Watching until a Discord message matches one of your keywords and includes a Menards product URL — then checkout runs automatically on that product.
PIDThe task waits in Watching until a message's PID field matches your PID exactly — then checkout runs automatically on that product.

When a task fires, the bot completes the whole checkout automatically using your guest profile and proxy: adds the item to cart, submits the shipping address, charges your card, and places the order. Success posts to Discord (the shared checkout channel plus your personal webhook) and the order is saved to the app's order history.

Transient problems (Menards rate-limiting you, a bad proxy, a network blip) are handled automatically — the bot retries up to 3 times, rotating to a fresh proxy, and shows Retrying or Site Busy while it works. Out-of-stock is not a failure: URL tasks simply arm and wait for the restock alert.

Creating a Task

  1. Go to the Menards page and click Add Task.
  2. Pick a Watch Mode (Product URL, Keywords, or PID).
  3. Fill in the fields for that mode, then choose a Profile and Proxy List and click Save.

What Each Field Means

  • Watch Mode — how the task should trigger: by product URL, by keywords, or by PID. A task uses exactly one mode.
  • Product URL (Product URL mode) — the full Menards product URL, e.g. https://www.menards.com/main/.../p-12345-c-678.htm.
  • Keywords (Keywords mode) — one or more words separated by commas (e.g. Kobalt, 24V, 5-Tool Combo). Matching is OR-based and not case-sensitive — any one keyword in a Discord message that also carries a Menards product URL triggers the task.
  • PID (PID mode) — the numeric product ID from the Discord message's PID field (e.g. 1444430074137). The match is exact.
  • Task Nickname (optional) — a label just for you, e.g. Kobalt Combo.
  • Quantity — how many to purchase (1–99). If the item's drop limit is lower, the site enforces it.
  • Profile (required) — the Guest Profile used for shipping and payment.
  • Proxy List (required) — the proxy list to run on. Residential recommended.

Tip: If you don't know the product URL yet (drop hasn't been announced), a Keywords or PID task will sit in Watching and fire automatically the moment a matching ping posts. A Product URL task needs the URL up front.

Running and Managing Tasks

Each task card has three buttons:

  • ▶ Run / ⏹ Stop — starts the task. While a task is busy (running, retrying, watching), the button turns into a red Stop control. Stopping finishes the current step and marks the task Stopped.
  • ✏️ Edit — opens the task dialog. Editing is locked while a task is busy — stop it first, then edit.
  • 🗑 Delete — removes the task.

At the top of the page:

  • Start All Tasks — starts every task that isn't already Success or Running.
  • Delete All — removes every task (asks for confirmation first).

The header shows live counters for total, running, success, and failed tasks.

Task Statuses

StatusWhat's Happening
IdleCreated but not started.
RunningCheckout is in progress.
WatchingWaiting for a Discord message that matches your keywords or PID.
Waiting for RestockA Product URL task hit out-of-stock. It will auto-run when a restock alert for that item posts.
RetryingA transient failure — the bot is retrying with a fresh proxy.
Site BusyMenards is rate-limiting the bot — backing off and retrying automatically.
SuccessOrder placed 🎉
Manual Action RequiredPayment was submitted but the bot couldn't confirm the result. Check your email/bank to verify the order before running the task again (avoids a double order).
FailedSomething went wrong — check the console for details.
StoppedYou stopped the task manually.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Arm URL tasks before the drop. Start them ahead of time: if the item is already sold out, they'll arm and fire automatically on the restock ping — no need to watch the channel yourself.
  • Keep the app (and the Menards page) open if you're relying on restock or keyword/PID triggers — the bot only hears Discord messages while the page is open.
  • Tasks reset to Idle when you restart the app. Nothing auto-fires after a restart; press Run or Start All Tasks to arm them again.
  • Use residential proxies. Menards tasks require a proxy and residential proxies have the best success rate.
  • Make sure your card's CVV is saved in the Guest Profile and the card isn't expired — both are checked before checkout runs.
  • If a drop limits quantities, keep each task at or under the limit — the site rejects over-limit orders.

Troubleshooting

ProblemFix
Task never triggers from DiscordVerify the Channel ID in Settings → Menards is the channel where Menards pings are posted. For URL tasks, confirm the task is Waiting for Restock (not Idle). Check the console for "listener started" messages and confirm the Discord connection is working.
Stuck on Watching foreverThe keywords/PID haven't matched a Discord message yet. Keywords are OR-matched and not case-sensitive; the message must also carry a Menards product URL (for keywords) or the exact PID (for PID mode).
Waiting for Restock foreverThe item hasn't been restocked, or the restock alert was posted to a different channel than the configured Channel ID.
Checkout failing — card declined / expiredCheck the console for the decline message. Confirm the card is active, not expired, and that the CVV is saved in the Guest Profile. Try a different card if declines continue.
Checkout failing — "profile missing required fields"Open the Guest Profile and complete all shipping fields (name, address, city, state, ZIP, phone) plus a valid email.
Manual Action RequiredPayment was submitted but the outcome is unconfirmed. Check your email/bank for the order before re-running, to avoid charging twice.
Proxy errors / task burns through proxiesConfirm the proxy list contains live residential proxies. Dead proxies are removed automatically, but a list with no working proxies will fail.
No Discord notification after successOpen Settings → Discord and confirm your webhook URLs are saved (see Discord Webhooks); use the Test button to verify.
Task seems stuckStop the task, then start it again. After an app restart, tasks reset to Idle — start them again to re-arm.
